Color Li’l Lincoln Outside the Lines

History meets a rainbow of color with the Li’l Lincoln America 250PA Adams County Coloring Contest, a fun, creative way for kids to join the celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.

Designed especially for young artists, this contest invites children to put their own colorful spin on Li’l Lincoln, complete with flags, ribbons, and patriotic flair.

Entering is easy. First, download or pick up the official Li’l Lincoln coloring page. Then let your child color away—neatly, wildly, or anywhere in between. When the masterpiece is finished, complete the entry form on the back with the child’s name, age, city and state, plus a parent or guardian’s contact information.

Entries are judged by age group (ages 1–4, 5–8, and 9–12), so every artist is competing with peers. One winner from each age group will receive an Adams County–themed prize package filled with gift cards, specialty items, and fun surprises.

Completed entries must be mailed or dropped off at Destination Gettysburg, Attn: Li’l Lincoln, 1560 Fairfield Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325. All entries must be received by August 1, 2026. Winners will be notified by email or phone.

This is more than a coloring contest. It’s a chance for kids to connect with history, show off their creativity, and be part of a once-in-a-generation celebration. And remember: coloring outside the lines is enthusiastically encouraged.
