Each session introduces young children to America and American history through an engaging storytime featuring a book about American history, culture, or a unique aspect of the nation. Following the story, children participate in a simple craft or hands-on activity that reinforces the monthly theme and keeps them actively involved in the learning experience.
Born to Make History represents education and celebration by giving Adams County’s youngest residents an early opportunity to learn about American history and culture in an age-appropriate and interactive setting. The program encourages curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning while helping children and families connect with the stories and traditions that shape the American experience.
