From Rebellion to Independence

Adams County Library presents From Rebellion to Independence, a program taking place in Gettysburg on April 16 from 6–7 PM. Leon Reed will deliver a lecture on how America declared and won independence. From the outbreak of armed resistance in 1775 to victory in 1783, the program explores how a divided and under-resourced rebellion evolved through pivotal moments such as Valley Forge and the French alliance into a force capable of defeating Britain in a global conflict.
