The Historic Farnsworth House Inn invites guests to experience an evening of mystery and theatrical storytelling with Escape from Illusion: Houdini’s Paranormal Pursuit on February 28, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Held in the inn’s Main Dining Room, this dinner theater program explores the life of legendary magician Harry Houdini and his pursuit of truth during the height of the Spiritualism movement.

Historian and performer “Doc” Weitzel brings Houdini’s story to life through an immersive performance that blends history, skepticism, and suspense in one of Gettysburg’s most atmospheric settings.

Dinner is included with admission and features baked chicken pot pie served with a fresh garden salad, a warm roll with butter, and a choice of dessert, including double chocolate fudge cake or apple pie. Beverages and gratuities are not included.
