First Friday Art Exhibit Opening

The Arts Education Center invites the community to its monthly First Friday opening, where all three gallery spaces stay open late for guests to explore the artwork on display and connect directly with the featured artists. The Center will serve light refreshments throughout the evening.

From 5 to 7 p.m., muralist Sarah Jacobs will lead a collaborative community mural workshop, giving attendees the opportunity to contribute to the Beyond the Battle Museum mural in a hands-on, creative experience.

This month’s exhibits showcase the work of Susan Nicholas Gephart, Steve Stanton, and Maremi Andreozzi, whose exhibition, Memorial for the Overlooked Heroine, highlights stories often left untold.
