ACCAC and the Healthy Adams County Fitness Task Force host a family-friendly hike at Caledonia State Park.
Participants meet in Lot 2 at Caledonia State Park, located past the park office and stop sign. The guided two-mile hike follows an easy trail through scenic lowlands and passes the site of the historic rolling mill, the mill’s falls, and one of Pennsylvania’s oldest white pine plantations. The route also offers opportunities for birdwatching and is suitable for children and beginner hikers.
ACCAC provides a light snack before the hike and a hot dog lunch afterward. Snacks and lunch are free, though registration is requested to help ensure enough food is available.
