Part of the Official Juneteenth 2026 Programming

Kick off Gettysburg’s Juneteenth weekend at the Juneteenth Pop-Up Market, a community gathering that celebrates creativity, culture, and connection.

Local vendors, artisans, and community organizations will come together at Rec Park for a marketplace that reflects the spirit and values of Juneteenth. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore handcrafted goods, art, food, and locally made products while connecting with businesses and organizations that contribute to the cultural and community fabric of Gettysburg.

More than a traditional market, this space is designed to uplift Black-owned businesses and support organizations and ally businesses whose work aligns with the mission of Juneteenth—fostering unity, community, and shared understanding.

Visitors are encouraged to stop by, meet local makers, support small businesses, and spend time in community as the weekend’s programs begin.

Following the market, attendees are invited to continue the evening at the Juneteenth Commemoration at Lincoln Cemetery, honoring the lives and legacy of the more than 450 Black residents buried there who helped shape Gettysburg’s history.
