The Old Hero Returns, John Burns LIVE in the Keeping Room Theater

The Keeping Room Theater continues its grand opening weekend with a Special Matinee Performance of The Old Hero Returns: A Fireside Chat with John Burns, LIVE on Saturday, May 16 at 11 a.m. inside the Historic Farnsworth House Inn in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This intimate daytime performance offers guests another opportunity to experience Gettysburg history brought to life inside the town’s newest immersive theater space.

Set within the newly created Keeping Room Theater, the production places audiences just steps from the action as John Burns — Gettysburg’s legendary civilian hero — shares his story in an engaging fireside-style performance filled with personality, history and atmosphere. The historic setting of the Farnsworth House Inn creates an authentic backdrop for this unique live experience in the heart of downtown Gettysburg.

Matinee guests will also receive a 10% off food coupon valid at Sweney’s Tavern or the Outdoor Garden following the performance. Exclusions apply.
