19th Annual Harvest Day Festival & Parade / Harvest Hunt

Celebrate fall in New Oxford during the 19th Annual Harvest Day Festival & Parade on Saturday, October 24, 2026, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the heart of New Oxford.

This community favorite features craft and food vendors, young entrepreneurs, free kids’ activities, and a parade that is free to participate in. The parade steps off at 3 p.m. New for 2026, the festival will also include a car show.

The celebration continues with Harvest Hunt, a town-wide scavenger hunt running Saturday, October 10 through Sunday, October 25. Participating businesses will each have a hidden leaf at their location. Visitors can record the number found on each leaf in their Harvest Hunt booklet, with each correct number counting as an entry toward prize drawings valued around $100. Participants must visit at least eight participating businesses to be eligible for a prize.

This event brings visitors to New Oxford to explore the town, support local businesses, and learn more about the community’s history. In celebration of America 250, Community Media of South-Central PA and the New Oxford Area Historical Society are also partnering on a new series highlighting local history and heritage.
