Families can enjoy Campfire Storytime at Children of Gettysburg1863® on Tuesdays, July 28, August 25, and September 22, 2026, from 6:30 to 7:00 p.m. Presented by the Adams County Library and co-sponsored by the Gettysburg Foundation, this free after-hours program takes place in the side yard of the children’s history museum.

The program is free and open to the public, and no tickets or reservations are required. Storytime is canceled in the event of inclement weather.
Children of Gettysburg 1863® is open before each program from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with the final museum adventure beginning at 5:00 p.m. Tickets are required for the museum experience. The museum is located at the historic Rupp House™, 451 Baltimore Street in Gettysburg.
