Adams County Library System hosts Revolutionary Reads, a special America 250-themed book club, on Thursdays, September 10, October 8, and November 12, from 2:00–3:00 PM at the Adams County Library System, 140 Baltimore St., Gettysburg, PA 17325. This engaging series explores key people, events, and perspectives from the American Revolution through both historical fiction and nonfiction, encouraging readers to compare how history comes to life through different styles of storytelling.
Participants are welcome to bring a snack and beverage while discussing one or both featured books each month. September pairs Washington’s Spies by Alexander Rose with Rebel Spy by Veronica Rossi. October features This Fierce People by Alan Crawford alongside The Hornet’s Nest by Jimmy Carter. November concludes with Washington’s Secret War by Thomas Fleming and The Winter of Red Snow by Kristiana Gregory.
