Conveniently located 1.5 blocks from Lincoln Square, the Gettysburg Fire Department is easily accessible to the shops, museums, restaurants and activity in Downtown Gettysburg. Our Community Room can accommodate up to 250 people for:
- business meetings
- small or large meetings
- birthday and retirement parties
- funeral receptions
- school groups
- catering
Free Fire Museum and building tours are also available. One of the biggest attractions to our museum is the 1886 Silsby “General Meade” and the Eagle Weathervane. You’ll also find the Silsby hose, old uniforms, books, photographs, awards and other memorabilia that tell the story of the Gettysburg Fire Department throughout the years. These tours must be pre-arranged.
