Welcome to all with a hunger for great food and a thirst for craft beer. We started the Warehouse project with a passion for producing handmade foods and the desire to create a unique environment in which to enjoy them. Our fare ranges from homemade soups, salads and dressings, breads, sandwich buns and desserts, amazing sandwiches and Bistro entrees, all created and prepared on-site. The Bistro itself is housed in a 120-year-old, historic brick warehouse that was purchased by Keith Stambaugh in 1996 and was utilized as his fine art studio until the restaurant opened in 2005. The concept and the vision for Warehouse Gourmet started with his wife Melinda, years before they even met. She envisioned a casual restaurant that served all of her favorite foods that couldn’t be found in south-central Pennsylvania.
The project started as a carry-out, catering and delivery restaurant and in five years developed into a sit-down Bistro. Melinda’s vision took root and foodies from all over the region realized the delicious splendor of our exquisite catered events and the relaxed joy of a sit-down meal at the Warehouse. Keith took a great risk and morphed his home brewing hobby into Hanover’s first commercial brewery in 2010. The second-floor brewery consumed the last bit of his studio and Warehouse Gourmet Bistro and Brewpub was born. The Pub currently serves 6 of our original beers as well as our COHO seltzer and a local cider. We also serve PA produced wines and PA distilled spirits, blended into our original cocktails.
