The park is open every day of the year, sunrise to sunset. Day use areas close at dusk.

The park office is open specific hours. The pool, overnight areas and other areas are open specific seasons and hours. Contact the park office for facility seasons and hours.

Located in the rolling hills of southern York County, the 3,500-acre Codorus State Park is a beautiful spot for outdoor recreation and camping. The 1,275-acre Lake Marburg at Codorus State Park has 26 miles of shoreline and is the rest stop for migrating waterfowl and shorebirds.

The park provides Environmental Education and Interpretation Programs from May to October including:

  • Ecological and historical walks and talks
  • Audiovisual presentations
  • Campfires
  • School environmental educational activities
  • Youth programs

Dive deep into nature with the park’s other offerings including:

  • 19 miles of hiking trails
  • 6.5 miles of mountain biking trails
  • 8 miles of horseback riding trails
  • Picnicking
  • A swimming pool
  • Boating (up to 20 hp motors permitted)
  • Hunting during established seasons
  • Disc golfing
  • Cross-country skiing
  • Snowmobiling
  • Ice skating
  • Sledding
  • Wildlife watching
  • Camping
  • Fishing
