It’s Johnny Appleseed’s Birthday September 26 and we’re fortunate to have one of our area’s best-traveled and most generous talents joining us on the Square. Yes, Jonathan Chapman (Johnny Appleseed) was a real man who lived a great life and contributed more to the apple culture of our country than any other person has and we’re happy to celebrate his 246th birthday, wherever you are! We’ve also partnered with United Way of Adams County to collect pantry items to help supply our local food recovery charities. Help your community like Johnny Appleseed did for SO many communities from Western PA down the Ohio River Valley and enjoy some outstanding music while doing it!
