Sleepy Hollow Manor  has charming architecture, decorations and views in an ideal location.  At the same time quaint and grand, this stone beauty was designed and built with love just after World War II by a prominent local home builder, developer and businessman Luther Sachs for himself and his large family.

Located mere steps from the bustling commercial strips of Baltimore Street and Steinwehr Avenue in Gettysburg’s historic district where most shops and restaurants are.  Also close to the Soldier’s National Cemetery, the bus tour company and the old town square.  There are at least 15 downtown pubs, wineries and restaurant taverns within walking distance so that no one has to drive home after imbibing.

This unassuming valley was locally and casually known as Sleepy Hollow over a hundred years ago.  Now it crawls with historic tours by day and ghost tours by night.  Where bullets were flying from Confederate snipers during the Battle of Gettysburg.  It is adjacent to Alumni and Unity Parks and is on Wainwright Avenue which is a popular walking and biking road that loops around Culp’s Hill, Spangler’s Spring and the East Cemetery Hill portions of the battlefield.

You will have a private bathroom for each suite, free internet, private temperature controls, a mini fridge in your suite and access to an easy, well stocked 24 hour continental breakfast and snack center.  Guests get free parking in a quiet residential neighborhood.  The Manor also has large common areas, a deck and porch.  The family suite sleeps up to 5 people. The nineteenth century carriage house has two first floor units that are the closest to parking spaces and have no steps. King or queen bed options.
