One Hundred Nights of Taps

“Taps” fills the air every evening for 100 nights at the Pennsylvania Memorial on Hancock Avenue from Memorial Day through Labor Day, courtesy of The Lincoln Fellowship of Pennsylvania and Gettysburg National Military Park.

Taps for Veterans, Gettysburg’s Licensed Battlefield Guides, and the Eisenhower National Historic Site co-sponsor this recurring event which features brief interpretive vignettes on nightly changing topics before the echo of the bugle sounds.

“Taps” is performed by volunteer buglers from across the country.

This program is free and open to the public.

PLEASE NOTE :
**Through August 31, Taps will be played every Sunday at 6 p.m. at Lincoln Cemetery at Gettysburg to honor Black veterans from the Civil War through the Korean War.
