Encounters with History: The Town of Gettysburg Walking Tour

Go beyond a standard Gettysburg Licensed Town Guide tour and explore the town in detail with a morning introductory talk and then a 90-minute tour of the northern part of town. After lunch, there will be another introductory talk and a 90-minute afternoon tour of the southern end of town. Your Licensed Town Guide will explain Gettysburg's history through a series of stories, with a considerable emphasis on the town's experiences during the July 1-3, 1863, period, how civilians weathered the Battle of Gettysburg and President Lincoln's visit to dedicate the National Cemetery.
