Sacrifice at the Brickyard – This 90-minute walking tour will follow Colonel Coster’s Union Brigade in historic time on July 1st, 1863. We will walk in their footsteps and learn of their sacrifice in the almost forgotten brickyard fight.

During the Battle of Gettysburg there were times when the ultimate sacrifice was required. President Lincoln called it “the last full measure of devotion”. For Colonel Coster’s Brigade that time was the afternoon of July 1st, 1863. Now it’s your time to discover the brickyard fight. Join us as we follow these men into battle, retell their story, and remember the sacrifice at the brickyard.
