Antebellum Marine Band

Celebrate the Fourth of July holiday weekend with patriotic music on the lawn in the side yard of the historic Rupp HouseTM.

Led by Bandmaster GySgt Kenneth J. Serfass USMC (Ret.), the Gettysburg band is comprised of military veterans, adult professional musicians and select high school age musicians. The band performs at living history events, representing the same mission the actual Marine Band completed in the antebellum and postbellum years supporting Presidents Lincoln and Grant under Bandmaster Francis M. Scala.

Bring your lawn chairs and gather in the side yard of the children’s history museum to enjoy the open-air concert.

Concert is dependent on favorable weather conditions. The interactive children’s history museum is open before the concert. Tickets are required for the museum adventure.
