33rd Annual Summer Bluegrass Gospel Series Featuring Hagan’s Family Ministries

Hagan’s Family Ministries performs Sunday, June 21, at the 33rd Annual Biglerville Oakside Community Park Summer Bluegrass Gospel Concert Series in Biglerville, Pennsylvania. The free outdoor concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and continues the summer tradition of gospel music performances in Adams County.

The family-based ministry blends gospel vocals with inspirational music in a welcoming community atmosphere at Oakside Community Park. Concertgoers can spread out across the amphitheater and picnic pavilion areas while enjoying an evening of live gospel entertainment in the heart of South Central Pennsylvania.

As America’s 250th anniversary approaches, the 33rd Annual Biglerville Oakside Community Park Summer Bluegrass Gospel Concert Series continues a tradition rooted in the music and community spirit that helped shape the American experience. The roots of the American experience are deeply embedded in bluegrass and gospel music, genres that emerged from the fusion of immigrant traditions and African rhythms to tell the raw stories of working-class survival. By bringing diverse people together during early frontier camp meetings, gospel became the first shared American music, bridging cultural divides through a common spiritual language.

Rain or shine, the concert series continues throughout the summer with performances held outdoors or inside Centennial Church when needed.
