The Adams County Library System presents A Special Screening of The American Revolution on January 29, 2026, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, and January 30, 2026, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM.

This program offers audiences a curated selection of key clips from Ken Burns’ acclaimed series The American Revolution, providing an in-depth look at America’s struggle for independence. Following the screening, attendees are invited to participate in an engaging discussion about the historical significance of the Revolution and its enduring impact on the nation.

This program fosters education and preservation of the historical context surrounding the founding of the United States, celebrating the 250th anniversary of the nation while encouraging reflection on its journey forward. Funded through the THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION Library Microgrant, this program provides free access to a compelling, historically rich exploration of America’s fight for independence.
