The Fairfield Area Historical Society presents Abraham Lincoln’s Cabinet: Friends and Enemies on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at 7 p.m. at Fairfield Village Hall in Fairfield, Pennsylvania.

This engaging program features licensed Battlefield Guide and author Joe Mieczkowski, who offers a deeper look into the ambitious and often divided men who made up Lincoln’s cabinet. While publicly supporting the president, some worked behind the scenes to challenge his policies, creating a fascinating dynamic within the government during the Civil War.
