The Adams County Library System presents the Historical Fiction Book Club on January 13, 2026, at 1:00 PM and February 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM. Participants are invited to bring a snack and beverage and join monthly discussions on selected historical fiction titles.
On January 13, the club will discuss The Frozen River by Ariel Lawhon, and on February 10, America’s First Daughter by Laura Kamoie and Stephanie Dray will be featured. Attendees will have the opportunity to explore the historical events and characters portrayed in these works while engaging with fellow readers in thoughtful conversation.
This program fosters education and preservation of the historical context surrounding the founding of the United States, celebrating the nation’s 250th anniversary. By examining history through the lens of fiction, the Historical Fiction Book Club provides participants with an enriching and immersive literary experience.
