American Revolution at the Dobbin House

In association with the 2026 Gettysburg Film Festival, the Historic 1776 Dobbin House invites guests to a one-of-a-kind celebration of Revolutionary America that brings the spirit of independence to life.

Friday April 3, save the date and bring your enthusiasm for a day filled with tours of Gettysburg’s oldest building, live period music performed by costumed musicians, Colonial living history demonstrations, and special guests to be announced.

The 2026 Gettysburg Film Festival
In the town where our nation was saved, we invite you to celebrate the birth of the republic. From April 2-4, 2026, The Gettysburg Film Festival will highlight powerful films and stories about the American Revolution, the founding of the United States, and the enduring ties between 1776 and Lincoln’s defining words in 1863—and beyond. 
As we mark America’s 250th anniversary, Festival Chair Ken Burns will headline a series of screenings, conversations, and special events that honor the ideals at the heart of our democracy.
