Annual Christmas Tree Lighting and Tuba Carol Fest

New for 2025! A Gettysburg Christmas Festival kicks off with GARMA’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at Lincoln Square on Friday December 5, followed by the Annual Tuba Carol Festival.

Kick off the holiday season with family, friends, and neighbors as we light the town tree at 6:30p. Create lifelong memories and enjoy festive music, warm treats, and plenty of holiday cheer.

So, bundle up and gather with friends and neighbors to see Santa arrive and start the countdown to light the majestic and towering Christmas tree in the center of Lincoln Square. Then, at 7p, join voices with the crowd as they sing along to an ensemble of tuba players, assembled here from several states, as they play traditional Christmas carols and put everyone in the holiday spirit.

After the tree is lit, Santa will be at his shanty to greet visitors and hear everyone’s holiday wishes.
