Boyer Nurseries & Orchards, Inc. has been a family owned and operated business since 1900, when W.W. Boyer recognized the need for a local distributor for quality fruit trees for area growers.
Boyer’s Orchard invites the community to celebrate its 125th Anniversary during a special Holiday Open House on December 13 and 14. The two-day event will feature seasonal activities, family-friendly attractions, and a variety of holiday shopping opportunities.
Visitors can take advantage of Boyer’s annual fresh apple sale, with discounted pricing on half-bushels and bushels, along with additional in-store specials. A cake-cutting ceremony is planned, with the exact time to be announced.
One highlight of the weekend will be photos with Santa, who will be available on an antique tractor from 1–3 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday. Guests are encouraged to bring their own cameras.
The event will also showcase a selection of holiday decorations and gifts, including fresh evergreen wreaths, pine roping, custom arrangements, fresh-cut holly, gift baskets, and handmade items from J&J Custom Crafts. Complimentary refreshments—such as mulled cider, cocoa, and cookies—will be offered throughout the weekend.
Additional features include a free kids’ craft table, a Toys-for-Tots donation drop box, and a holiday raffle with prizes including a $125 gift card and a fruit and wine gift basket. Visitors are also encouraged to stop by the Boyer Cellars Wine Tasting Room during their visit.
Boyer’s Open House hours are 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on Saturday and 12 p.m.–5 p.m. on Sunday. And they will celebrate 125 years with a cake cutting ceremony on Sunday at 2 p.m.
