Celebration of Revolutionary America at the Dobbin House

Celebration of Revolutionary America at the Dobbin House

In association with the 2026 Gettysburg Film Festival, the Historic 1776 Dobbin House invites guests to a one-of-a-kind celebration of Revolutionary America, bringing the spirit of independence to life.

The event takes place Friday, April 3, 2026, featuring tours of Gettysburg’s oldest building, live period music performed by costumed musicians, Colonial living history demonstrations, and special guests to be announced.

The 2026 Gettysburg Film Festival, running April 2–4, 2026, celebrates the birth of the republic in the town where the nation was saved. The festival highlights films and stories about the American Revolution, the founding of the United States, and the enduring ties between 1776 and Lincoln’s defining words in 1863. As part of America’s 250th anniversary, Festival Chair Ken Burns will headline a series of screenings, conversations, and special events honoring the ideals at the heart of democracy.

Guests can enjoy this unique opportunity to experience history, film, and the revolutionary spirit all in one immersive celebration.
