5SAFE Original Music Fest at PloughTap

5SAFE: for the 5th Saturday in February, when leap day falls on Saturday. It only happens once every 28 years!

Performing all-original music at Ploughman Cider Taproom for 5SAFE:

1st Act: The Mimic (Starting around 6pm)
Jeff Colby and Austin Greene are The Mimic–an eclectic mix of upbeat, mellow, dreamy, soulful, thrashing, noir, familiar and yet original brilliancy with nothing more than a guitar and a voice.

2nd Act: Matt Miller (Starting around 7:15pm)
Matt Miller’s songs encompass a wide range of styles, with strong jazz and funk influences, with splashes of Tom Waits, John Prine, and Morphine. He plays baritone guitar (tuned between a guitar and a bass), alto sax, and flute, and writes songs as they appear to him out of the air.

3rd Act: Pomona’s Trio (Starting around 8:30pm)
Pomona’s Trio is a group of three friends, who look for all opportunities to play jazz, eat delicious food and drink good wine (or cider!) together.
