Join in the fun at Gettysburg’s Community Independence Celebration, Tuesday, July 4 at Gettysburg Area Rec Park
This annual event has something for everyone including food trucks, fireworks, music, BINGO, a cash raffle, beer garden, face painting, glitter tatoos, balloon artist and so much more.
4 p.m. – Doors open.
4 p.m. – BINGO in the Charlie Sterner Building
4 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The beer garden opens with beer, wine and cider for adults with proper ID (in the roped area adjacent to the amphitheater).
4:30 p.m. – Local band “Schizophonic” returns to play at the amphitheater
6:30 p.m. – Enchanted Teapot presents a meet-and-greet with Captain America and Wonder Woman
7 p.m. – NEW THIS YEAR – Gettysburg Civic Chorus performs on the family stage adjacent to the fireworks viewing area
9 p.m. – Cash raffle drawing from the amphitheater stage – ten cash prizes with top prize of $1000
9:20 p.m. – Fireworks begin
