Beginning Wheel Throwing

Sundays, March 6-20, April 3, 10-noon

Wheel throwing is the technique of shaping round ceramics using a potter’s wheel. This class is a wonderful opportunity to introduce you to throwing clay on the wheel. Your Instructor will teach you strategies and give you ideas during this step by step hands on instruction that will help you be successful and confident. Learn how to throw bowls and other functional art forms. Your first three classes will focus on building, throwing and trimming. The last class will focus on glazing your finished work.
