Blue & Gray Hospital Association Living History

The Blue & Gray Hospital Association Living History group will be set up in the Gettysburg Heritage Center talking with visitors and showing medical equipment used during the Civil War. This is a special presentation that is included with the purchase of tickets to the museum!

The Blue & Gray Hospital Association was founded on January 1, 2012. The organization participates in a variety of different educational activities, including living histories, historical workshops, field trips, lectures, presentations, and more. The association includes medical staff, a Chaplain, privates, nurses, laundresses, seamstresses, and cooks. They are affiliated with The National Museum of Civil War Medicine and have been honored to be named an official living history organization.

Admission to the Gettysburg Heritage Center is $10/ adult and $8/ child (ages 6-12). Children 5 & under are free!
