Book Signing with Author, Lori Tillia-Meeker: Where Have All the Hospitals Gone?

Lori Tillia-Meeker will be at the Gettysburg Gift Center to talk with visitors and autograph copies of her book, “Where Have all the Hospitals Gone?: The Aftermath of the Battle of Gettysburg”.

Lori’s book breaks down the hospitals that were around Gettysburg following the battle. She looks at them by section- the town, farms, and homes north of town; south of town; east of town; west of town; the major Federal Corps Field Hospitals, the Village of Fairfield, the Village of Hunterstown, the Village of Cashtown, Camp Letterman and finally Field Dressing Stations.

The Gettysburg Heritage Center will have copies of Lori’s book available for purchase prior to the book signing.  Anyone interested in an autographed copy but unable to attend may contact the Heritage Center prior to the event to have a copy signed and shipped.
