Join the Army with Company K

Company K of the 1st Pennsylvania Reserve Infantry was recruited from here in Gettysburg, Pa. in 1861. Two years later, they found themselves back in their hometown to fight in the Battle of Gettysburg.

On Saturday, Jan. 20, 2024, families are invited to participate in activities at the Gettysburg National Military Park Museum & Visitor Center from 9 to 11 a.m. Train, march and learn all about who these soldiers of Company K were, as well as their battle action at Gettysburg in July 1863, with National Park Service rangers and ASL interpreters.
