Garry Adelman and Tim Smith will lead a multi-stop trip on Friday, November 17th that traces Abraham Lincoln’s path during his iconic visit to Gettysburg. The program will begin at noon near Lincoln Railroad Station on Carlisle Street and unfolds throughout the afternoon with short programs at key locations in town. Be ready to walk approximately 2.5 miles on paved ground as we follow in the footsteps of the revered President, Secretary of State William Seward, and town residents like David and Catherine Wills who planned the iconic events of November 19, 1863. You might expect some pleasant surprises along the way!
