Families can bring their children to enjoy a relaxing storytime in their pajamas around the campfire in the side yard of the new children’s history museum. Pajama Storytime Around the Campfire at Children of Gettysburg 1863 is taking place Sept. 20 and Oct. 18, 2022, from 6:30 p.m. until 7 p.m.

Stories are read and campfire songs are sung at these outdoor events. Siblings and stuffed animals are welcome to attend. Storytime is for all ages, and books are geared for children in grades K-1.

In the event of inclement weather, story time is held inside. Co-sponsored by the Adams County Library System and the Gettysburg Foundation, the event is free and open to the public.

Located at 451 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, the children’s history museum is open prior to the events. Tickets are free for children/youth (ages 0-12) with a ticketed adult (ages 13 and older).
