Presidents Day at Children of Gettysburg 1863®

Enjoy a special opening at Children of Gettysburg 1863® on Presidents Day to explore the children’s interactive history museum adventure and participate in special activities throughout the day.  In honor of Presidents Day, throughout the day, special Presidents Day activities will be available for visitors to enjoy during their visit.

The interactive children’s history museum tells the engaging stories of children, teens and young adults who lived in the town of Gettysburg and the surrounding area during and after the Battle of Gettysburg. During a visit to Children of Gettysburg 1863®, families can experience engaging first-hand accounts from a number of young residents from 1863, including William Bayly, Albertus McCreary, Sadie Bushman and Tillie Pierce. Visitors are introduced to Gettysburg and its significance as they touch, listen and learn their way through an engaging journey back to 1863 through interactive exhibits and meaningful activities throughout the museum adventure.

Activities are free with your ticket to experience the museum adventure. Children/Youth (ages 0-12) tickets are currently free with a ticketed adult (ages 13+).
