Summer Book Bonanza

Over 30,000 books in addition to a large selection of DVDs, CDs, cassette tapes, vinyl records and magazines on a number of topics. All of this is possible through donations by local residents and the work of our dedicated volunteers. The sales will benefit the Adams Country Library System and its programs. The event will be held at Redding Auction Services, located at 1085 Table Rock Road in Gettysburg.

The dates and times of the sale are as follows:
-Thursday, July 25, 9 a.m to 7 p.m.
-Friday, July 26, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
-Saturday, July 27, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A food truck on Thursday and Friday will be available, next to Redding Auctions, where you can take a break from your browsing experience. We will have 100 plus tables that are stacked with books that include categories such as Adventure and Travel, American History, Military, Biography, Children’s Books, Classics, Crafts, Cooking, Science Fiction, Home and Health, Sports and Fitness, Mystery, Poetry, Pets/Nature/Environmental, Politics/Opinion Garden, Home Repair and Improvements, Literature and Short Stories, Medical, Religion, Romance, Westerns, Writing, Young Adult and Teens, World Culture and History.

On Friday and Saturday, children can get 5 free books each day.
Teachers, on Friday, can get 15 free books related to their subject area.
And on Saturday, patrons can pay $5.00 for a bag of books, or buy two bags and get a third bag of books free.
