Local resident, David Peters, will address the audience with an illustrated talk on the subject of the Enigman machine, a famous encryption machine used extensively by Nazi Germany to transmit coded messages during WWII. Learn who cracked the codes and how, allowing the Allies to decipher German signal traffic and change the course of history. The public is invited to attend this free event put on by the East Berlin Historical Preservation Society (EBHPS).
EBHPS is non-profit organization dedicated to preservation, conservation and education, as it pertains to East Berlin and outlying areas.
