The Scotch-Irish of Adams County

Among the earliest European settlers to what is now Adams County were the Scotch-Irish Presbyterians. They established churches and cemeteries and formed communities and towns. The Scotch-Irish affected every aspect of early social, political, and economic life in the county. Join ACHS Historian Timothy H. Smith as he discusses the Scotch-Irish in Adams County.
This free public program will be held at the Adams County Historical Society (625 Biglerville Road) on Saturday, May 25th at 11 a.m.
