Eisenhower National Historic Site Easter Egg Roll

The third annual Eisenhower National Historic Site Easter Egg Roll takes place on April 4, 2026, with a rain date of Monday, April 6. The event runs from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

In 1953, after a hiatus during World War II, Dwight and Mamie Eisenhower brought the beloved Easter Egg Roll tradition back to the South Lawn of the White House.

To commemorate the original Eisenhower Easter Egg Roll, this event invites young visitors and families to enjoy fun-filled activities while learning about Eisenhower family Easter traditions. Children have the opportunity to decorate their own wooden egg and participate in an egg roll on the lawn of the Eisenhower home in Gettysburg.
