Family Day at Spangler

Join the Gettysburg Foundation for a free day of history and exploration at the historic George Spangler Farm & Field Hospital—the best preserved field hospital from the American Civil War.

Family Day features living historians, Civil War encampments, Civil War medicine, Spangler family experiences, historic barn preservation presentations with Historic Gettysburg Adams County, local favorite Mr. G’s Ice Cream and family-friendly programming and activities.

Guests are welcome to drive to the site where limited parking is available for the Family Day event.
