Family Day brings Civil War history to life at this remarkable historic property, where the farm and field hospital provide an authentic setting for exploration and interactive experiences. Activities offer families and history enthusiasts an engaging look at the stories connected to the site and the events that shaped Gettysburg.

The day also features a free scoop of ice cream from Gettysburg’s own Cone Sweet Cone, adding a sweet local favorite to the historic experience.

Family Day at Spangler Farm takes place at 488 Blacksmith Shop Road in the Gettysburg area. Guests may drive directly to the property for the event, with limited on-site parking available.
