“Fields of Fury” – Immersive Civil War Battle Reenactment

“Fields of Fury” – Experience the most immersive Civil War Event to be held at the Historic Daniel Lady Farm in recent history! Don’t miss your chance to be up close and personal as the troops wage battle just a few yards from the captivated crowds.

Spectators are encouraged to move along with the battle as it rages across three adjoining fields on our sprawling and bucolic farm. Experience first-hand the devastation, destruction, and disorder as it would have unfolded back then. As the casualties begin to mount on the field, the ambulance wagons take to their grim duty of collecting the fallen and transporting them to triage areas set up in the nearby barn. Surgeons and their assistants will work to perform the lifesaving measures of yesteryear as guests get a true glimpse of what the aftermath of battle and the cost of war would have looked, felt, and sounded like.

These demonstrations are structured to provide an unforgettable and educational experience for reenactors and spectators alike as the entire farm will come to life with the consequences of battle, what happens after the guns fall silent and the smoke has cleared.
