Gettysburg National Battlefield Amphitheater Worship Series

Each Sunday throughout the Summer, from Father’s Day (June 15, 2025), through Labor Day Sunday (August 31, 2025), the Gettysburg Area Ministerium, representing the churches of Adams County, sponsors a worship service at 8:00 am at the Battlefield Amphitheater on Confederate Avenue. The services are conducted by individual member pastors and churches from throughout Adams County, and are Interdenominational (open to all).

The Summer Worship Series was originally begun over 50 years ago by Gettysburg Church Women United, in order to provide a unique worship experience for visitors and guests in our community. It has become a meaningful worship venue for Gettysburg residents and visitors alike, overlooking the scenic Eisenhower Farm.
