HGAC Special Program at Spangler Farm Family Day: Pennsylvania Bank Barns

Special programming during Family Day at the George Spangler Farm & Field Hospital highlights the historic Pennsylvania bank barn and its role as both a Union Civil War hospital and a working farm structure in Adams County. As part of the Gettysburg Foundation’s event, HGAC volunteers will be on site to share insights and guide visitors through the significance of the barn within the larger story of the property.

Admission is free, and guests can also enjoy complimentary ice cream from Mr. G’s during this family-friendly day of history and hands-on learning.
