Historic Church Open House & Bell Ringing (holiday cooling station)

Christ Lutheran Church opens its historic doors on Friday, July 4, from noon to 3:00 p.m. for a special open house in downtown Gettysburg. Located at 30 Chambersburg St., Gettysburg, PA 17325, the afternoon features guided tours, a cooling station, church bell ringing at noon, and a welcoming place to rest.

Visitors can explore the church’s important role as a hospital during and after the Battle of Gettysburg while learning about the people and events that shaped its history.
