Join the Fairfield community on July 4, 2026, at noon for the Ringing of the Fairfield Bells, a unique celebration commemorating the 250th anniversary of American independence. For five minutes beginning at 12 PM, church and community bells throughout Fairfield will ring in unison, creating a memorable tribute to the nation’s founding and the freedoms that continue to unite communities across the country.
Participating organizations include St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fairfield Mennonite Church, St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Iron Springs Brethren in Christ Church, The Carmel of Jesus, Mary and Joseph, the Borough of Fairfield, and additional community partners. Presented as part of the A250PA commemoration, this first-of-its-kind event highlights the spirit of community, patriotism, and remembrance that has shaped the nation for 250 years. The Ringing of the Fairfield Bells offers a simple yet powerful way for residents and visitors to pause and recognize the enduring significance of American independence in the heart of the Fairfield community.
