Let Freedom Ring: A Revolutionary War and American Timeline Living History Event

Let Freedom Ring is a family-friendly living history event that brings together reenactors portraying American military history across multiple time periods. Visitors will encounter historical interpreters representing the Revolutionary War, Colonial French and Indian War, Civil War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, and the Vietnam War.

Throughout the weekend, guests can explore interactive encampments, speak with knowledgeable reenactors, and learn about the experiences of soldiers from different eras of American history.

Each day’s highlight will be a Revolutionary War treason trial vignette held at 2:00 p.m., featuring a prominent Revolutionary War leader placed on trial. Audience members will participate in determining the outcome by following the historical laws and procedures of the period.

The event will take place at the Daniel Lady Farm in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Admission is free, with donations encouraged to support the Gettysburg Battlefield Preservation Association and the Daniel Lady Farm.
