Masterworks and Premieres

The Sunderman Conservatory Wind Symphony will perform its 2024 Masterworks concert on April 12th at 8 PM in the Majestic Theater.

The concert features the commissioning consortium premiere of Armando Bayolo’s Dispatches from the Anthropocene, Gustav Holst’s Second Suite in F, and a piece by Gettysburg College’s very own, Professor Avner Dorman.

Zoey Cobb and John Tadlock perform Spices, Perfumes, Toxins!, Dorman’s piece, arranged by Dr. Amanda Heim with percussion soloists .

The concert also features a performance from the Conservatory’s Percussion Ensemble, directed by Professor Parker Fadoul.

Tickets are $5 for adults and free for anyone 18 and under or with a Gettysburg College ID.
